June Eurozone Retail Sales Increase 3.1% YoY Compared to 2.6% Predicted

June saw a 3.1% increase in Eurozone yearly retail sales.
In June, the bloc's retail sales came in at 0.3% MoM.

According to official figures provided by Eurostat on Wednesday, the Eurozone's retail sales grew 3.1% year over year in June after a revised 1.9% growth in May.

2.6% was the market consensus.

In comparison to May's -0.3% revision, retail sales in the old continent increased by 0.3% on a monthly basis during the same time, falling short of the 0.4% market forecast.
